    Privacy protection

Thank you for visiting our website. We place great importance on protecting your personal data during your visit. We are therefore committed to protecting your privacy and treating your data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory regulations on data protection. With this statement, we want to inform you of which of your personal data we collect when you visit our website and make purchases through this website, and for what purposes this information is used.

Since changes in the law or changes to our internal processes may require an adjustment of this privacy statement, we ask you to read this privacy statement every time it is called up, if possible.

    I. General use of the website
You can navigate through the offers on our website without disclosing your identity. However, if you wish to purchase products or would like to set up a customer account, your personal data will be requested. What these are and for what purposes and to what extent they are processed by us is explained below.

    1. Personal data
Personal data refer to specific information about personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable person. Information that cannot (or can only with a disproportionate effort) be directly related to a person is not considered personal data.

    2. Logfiles
As is the case every time you use the Internet, for technical reasons certain information that is transmitted from your computer also remains on our servers when you access our website. The following data are transferred to our server and recorded in so-called logfiles by your Internet browser:
    • the website from which you access our website (referrer URL),
    • which pages of our website you are visiting,
    • the date and time of your access,
    • the type and version of the browser used,
    • the operating system used,
    • the language used, and
    • the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the device establishing the Internet connection.
In this form, these data do not make conclusions about a particular individual possible. An analysis of the data is only provided for if our website is abused. There will be no other usage, such as for statistical purposes.

    3. Cookies
We use cookies on our website to make visiting our website attractive and allow the use of certain functions. These are small text files that are stored on your computer. Many cookies used on our site are automatically deleted from your hard drive after you finish using the website (so-called session cookies). Other cookies are stored on your computer and make it possible for us to recognise your computer on your next visit (so-called persistent cookies). If you don't want our cookies to be stored on your computer, please disable the storing of cookies in your browser for our website or set your browser so that cookies are generally not stored on your computer.
The following cookies are used on our website:

    • a. Session ID
In order to facilitate browsing through our website, we use a so-called session ID (or session identifier in full), which is allocated to each user at the beginning of each visit to our website. This session ID enables our server to identify you and/or your computer/browser as the same visitor, even if the IP address may have changed in the meantime. Based on this session ID, several associated inquiries made by a user can be allocated to one session. The session ID cookie used by us will only be valid until the end of a session. It will be deleted automatically upon closing your browser.

    • b. etracker
This website collects and stores data for marketing and optimisation purposes using cookies-based technologies from etracker GmbH. From this data, user profiles can be created under a pseudonym. Cookies allow recognition of the web browser you use. The data collected with etracker technologies will not be used without the explicit consent of the person concerned; it will not be used to personally identify visitors to this website and it will not be merged with personal data regarding the user of the pseudonym. Data collection and storage can be cancelled any time with effect for the future. In this case, a cookie will be stored on your computer which indicates to us for as long as it is stored on your computer that you do not want etrackers to be used. Please do not delete this cookie as long as you wish to maintain your objection.

    • c. Online advertising / third-party cookies
Some of the cookies on our website are used by our co-operation partners for the purposes of online marketing (so-called third-party cookies). Here is some more information:
When you visit our website for the first time, specific cookies from our advertising partners are stored on your computer and used by our co-operation partners for switching, optimisation and evaluation of online advertising. These cookies collect information such as the products you view on our website. Advertisements of our deals can subsequently be switched on websites of partners of the advertising networks of our cooperation partners (so-called usage-based advertising). When ads appear on other websites, information about your visit to this website where we have an advertisement – such as how many times you have viewed an ad – will be collected and passed on to us. However, no personal data are generated or forwarded. You can therefore not be identified personally on the basis of this information.

    4. Plugins
On our website we use so-called plugins of various social networks. Here is more information on the plugins we use:

    • a. Facebook Social Plugins
Our website uses programmes (plugins) from the social network Facebook. These are operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (Facebook). The Facebook plugins are identifiable by the Facebook logo or the "Like" or "Share" buttons on our site. When you visit a page on our website, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook server using the plugin. Thus, Facebook receives information about which IP address you used when accessing our website. Since this transfer takes place directly, we do not receive any knowledge of the transmitted data. If you are logged into your personal user account with Facebook when visiting our website, Facebook can associate the visit with your Facebook account and thereby relate it to you personally. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking on the "Like" button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted from your browser directly to Facebook and stored there. For information about the purpose and scope of data collection by Facebook, further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this respect and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the Facebook data protection information regulations. If you do not wish Facebook to assign your visit to our website to your Facebook user account, please log out from your Facebook account before you visit our website.

    • b. Google+ Social Plug-ins
The "+1" button of the social network "Google+", operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”) is embedded on our website. The button is identifiable by the "+1" symbol on a white or coloured background. If you visit a page from our website that contains such a button, your browser will establish a direct connection with the Google servers. The content of the "+1" button is transmitted directly to your browser by Google and is embedded in the website by it. For information about the purpose and scope of data collection, further processing and use of data by Google, as well as your rights in this respect and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Google's data protection information regarding the "+1" button. If you are a member of "Google+" and do not want Google to associate the data collected via our website with your member data stored by Google, you must log out of "Google+" before visiting our website.

    5. Contact form
There is a contact form available on our website where you can enter your first and last name, e-mail address, the subject of your question and a message. You can also enter your telephone number and an order number on the contact form. Messages sent via the contact form are not automatically encoded. We use this information exclusively to respond to your contact request. If we do not need the information you have given for other processing purposes, we delete your information and do not use it any further.

    2. Use and disclosure of your information
The data provided by you will be used to fulfil and process your order. Other than that, we will only send you unsolicited information about deals of similar goods via e-mail. Handling of your personal data for fulfilling and processing your order includes transmitting your data for delivery purposes to the shipping company assigned for delivery, if this is necessary for delivering the goods, to the purchase processing system and, where appropriate, to disclose information regarding your payment details to our bank. Your data will not be transmitted to other third parties except under (II. 3.).

In case you do not want to receive any advertisements on similar products or services, you can always revoke the approval of the use of your email address at any time, without incurring any additional costs other than the normal internet connection fee. You only need to click on the link to unsubscribe, which link is provided in every separate mailing.
